Post the Covid-19 pandemic there is an increase in uses of laptops comparing to desktops because we all need to work and study from home only. Earlier many offices used to have desktops for their employees as there was no work from home practice in many sectors, also the desktop computers are cheaper than laptops and it is cost friendly for any business. But looking at the situation post the corona outbreak many offices provided the laptops to their employees for the continuity of their businesses, so that company can run their business smoothly and also people can have the jobs even though they cannot go to offices physically.
Other than this one of the major reason of people buying the laptops is for school and collage studies of their children. the schools are having their lectures online hence parents should buy the laptops for their children so they can study easily and conveniently as one cannot study in mobile phones for a longer period of time and the screen size is not suitable for study for more hours as it can hurt the eyes of your kids and it can result in eye specs.
Also, many people lose the jobs and they are trying to find the new job in this situation where companies are providing work from home but not all of them are providing laptops. Some of them required us to have own laptops, so having own laptops will helps us to find the suitable jobs easily and we can do the other part time jobs as well with that system.
So, let’s see the few uses of laptops and the reasons for having the laptop:
Study:
This is one of the important reasons you should have your own laptop. Not only for the school or college students but there are people who are perusing degrees who need to attend online lectures and they also need to work on many projects to get the good grade for all their semesters. Instead of doing all this thing in mobile phone you should study in laptops as you will be more conformable studying in it.
Work from home:
As I have mentioned above many of us are getting work from home job with good packages but thing is that companies do not provide the laptops, in this case this would be much helpful for us to have the own laptop and other than this we can use the same laptop for freelance jobs as well. We cannot the company laptop for personal use.
Data storage:
Now a days we all have the mobile with huge storage like 128GB, 256GB etc. where we can save all the pictures, videos, documents, however we should not keep the private data like important documents, private pictures, videos and many other things in it because many times it happens, we need to give our mobile phones to friends and other people due any reason. Here they can easily see our private details.
Other that this we also have online sources available to save and keep the data like Google drive, OneDrive many other free and paid online storages are available. They might keep out data safe and private to us only, however there is still risk for our data if someone can hack our log in easily.
So, I would suggest you all to have your own laptop to keep your important and private data safe.
Business:
Whatever business you have, you will surely need the laptop to manage it. In today’s time everything is getting digital and all the business growing and making their presence online. Also, business use the many online services to run their business smoothly and effectively. Business owners can manage their business from anywhere in the world if they have their own laptop. It can be used for many things like keeping records for business, for employees, for salary and many other confidential details about your business. And for preparing reports and the PPT.
You can also use the laptop for digital marketing of your business, as it is needed for creating posters and advertisement for your promoting and growing business. It can be used for managing social media account for business on Facebook, Instagram, Twitters and many other platforms.
Gaming:
You can also use your laptops to play games in it, I know we cannot play the heavy game which we play in desktops computer but there are many games which we can play in laptops. Many online games also available which you can play as individual or multiplayer games.
Entertainment:
There are many things available online for entertainment, some are free or some are paid. Free services are like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram where you can enjoy the social media and watch free videos and paid services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Zee5 and many other. You can watch movies online on your laptop or you can download it.
